KB FOUSHÉE
Katherine Bringsjord ‘KB’ Foushée (b. 1986) is an American figurative artist living and working in Boston. Foushée recently moved to Boston from London by way of New York City and is continuing her practice there.
Foushée studied at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where she graduated in 2009.
After completing her university studies, Foushée was recruited to work at the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). While there, she continued her art practice in parallel.
Since her time as an international woman of mystery, Foushée has garnered extensive experience in the Fashion and Beauty industries, working for Clinique, Estée Lauder and Macy’s. She has been inspired by the blurring of lines between marketing, branding and the contemporary art world.
Over the years Foushée began to take commissions. She now finds her focus primarily drawn to commissions as she juggles her other two areas of focus—marketing consulting and mothering two burgeoning artists. Additionally, Foushée has taught drawing — particularly figure drawing from live models — in both private and group settings.
Today, Foushée continues to accept commissions and to teach traditional drawing and painting techniques. She can often be found drawing and painting — or finger painting at times — as much as possible with her two daughters.
